Cinnamon Drop Scones

Cinnamon Drop Scones

What better breakfast than to have some delicious Cinnamon drop scones. I actually added walnuts too, as I love them and you're supposed eat a few nuts per week, or so I've heard lol.

Ingredients:

220g S/R Flour
Pinch of Salt
50g Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Cinnamon
280ml Milk
1 tbsp Oil
Sprinkle of Nuts (optional)

Place the butter, salt and sugar into a saucepan and heat until they've melted. Add the Cinnamon and stir well. Remove the pan from the heat and whisk the eggs in. Then add the milk and whisk until you see lots of air bubbles.

Now stir in the flour, not all at once, continue stirring until the mixture is smooth.

Whether you're using a hotplate or a frying pan, you need to warm it first, then make sure you spray it with some oil before dropping spoonfuls of mixture onto the pan. Once one side has cooked, you can sprinkle some nuts over the top before you turn it over.

Now turn them and when golden brown, pop them onto a plate sprinkled with icing sugar. Then drizzle some golden syrup over the scones and enjoy!

Don't they look delicious!
